Large canvas mixed media piece, I used spray inks, Acrylic paint, this started out with sticking embossed card down onto canvas, painting over with gesso before hot gluing buttons and flowers down with words making a picture.

Altered Domino's

I love altering domino's, I have done many different styles from ones that can be added to other work, book marks, Christmas Decorations and mini books. Here are a few listed.

Here is a selection of cards i have made in the past few months, I have enjoyed learning the process of bringing different things together to make the cards.

Altered Wooden Book Box

This was one of my first projects, I love the shabby vintage look to this box, I tea dyed lace so that it would match the doilies that are vintage on it, the picture of the woman I found had been hand painted on a tile. I made stick pins and brought all of this together as a picture.

Altered Mouse Traps.

Here are two altered mouse traps, I changed them into fridge magnets where you can place notes to remind you of things you must not forget. Two very different styles both came out really well. I will be making more of these for sure.

Altered Box

I altered a wooden box, this is used with Kaisercraft papers. I really enjoyed altering the box for my Mother-in-law. Simple fussy cutting, sticking and layering.

Altered Tin

This is a lovely tin I altered, the paper book roses, fabric roses I made also, The tags can be taken off and written on or replaced with a picture. The tin can sit either flat used as a box or can be placed upright as a picture and enjoyed as art.

Gorjuss Girls Triple Trinket Box.

I have made a couple of these for gifts, they are so lovely to place all of their things on. This was used with the Gorjuss Girls Range which ia another well priced paper collection I have come to love.

Memories Last a Life time.

This piece was taken from the Docrafts paper line called Madame Payrauds. It is gorgeous and very well priced. I had in mind the memories of the past when I made this, I also used Docraft spray ink, over a texture paste. Lace distressed with Tim Holtz ink. 

Industrial Heart Beat

This is a larger canvas, I love working with the broken glass, the way it shines when you place it onto the clear glue, the way once it is dry the light glimmers as you walk past it. Again i used Dylusion spray inks which I love as they are so vibrant.

Bleeding Heart

This is one of a few Mixed Media canvas designs I have done over the past few weeks. As my journey goes on I discover my tastes of Art and design seem to be far reaching  and the light never fades inside of me to create something new.  This canvas was made using crushed down mirror glass, Dylusion spray inks, Stazon, Acrylic paints and clear pva glue.
